Meet Michael Norton
Mike Norton Founder & Owner of FrameTechs, Inc.
Owner Mike Norton established FrameTechs in 2002 as a framing company. Since then, FrameTechs has evolved to encompass all aspects of the building process; boasting a portfolio of stunning new homes and extraordinary transformations of historically significant homes across Boston’s South Shore and beyond.
Norton’s affinity for historical homes and antique restoration began when his parents bought an antique fixer-upper when he was ten years old. Norton helped his father restore and upgrade the old house that eventually became his childhood home. While the work was difficult, the appreciation for antique and historical architecture that Norton developed lasted into adulthood and he went onto learn how to build new homes.
I'm passionate about working with reclaimed wood and natural textures like old barn boards and live-edge pieces. It is incredibly satisfying to repurpose materials creatively while allowing their unique personalities to shine. Our work is founded on a deep respect for historical buildings and we work tirelessly to ensure the old and new blend harmoniously in your home.As a family man, I know how important it is to make a house a real home – one that can be enjoyed for generations to come.
